So my friend asks, "There wouldn't be any compatibility issues if I put a 780 in my PC in addition to my 970, would there?"

This friend claims that he knows just as much as I do about building computers, so I want you guys to tell me. Should I let him do it? I'm 50/50 on the idea, and personally feel like he could use the experience from the mistake.

**UPDATE** If he goes through with it he will dump $130 on it.
