Koss ESP 950

Does anyone have any experience with these headphones? They are on sale on amazon for 27% off, and I'm wondering if I should sell a few things and go for them... I've heard that the people that own them swear by them, but don't advocate for them. Anyone actually listened to them before? I would love to hear what you think!

hmm. I know lots of people love their electrostats, but it's a bit too pricy for my tastes. maybe you should check out what they have to say over at head-fi

Yeah, I think I probably will. I was just wondering if anyone over here knew, since I like it over here (Fewer claims about cables changing everything about how headphones sound, and stuff like that...) I was curious, since it's the cheapest I've ever seen this particular pair go for, and Koss has a lifetime warranty, so there is that...

I have heared fantastic stuff about these being a bargain at 1000 which I think is maybe overrating but never heared then they come with nice accessories a big leather bag and an amp and koss lifetime warranty

Yeah, the lifetime warranty is of special interest to me, since I have been known to break things accidentally, on occasion. I think that when they are called a bargain, it's more of a comparison of value to other $1000 headphones. Obviously, they aren't going to take value for money when compared to something like a $50 pair of headphones. I'd like to get a pair and give them a go for gaming. It seems like they would be an interesting thing to use for that application. (although I would, of course use them for music as well. I would probably sell my HD650 if I liked the Koss well enough.)

Well you can always return them and get your money back also the warranty is important cause I heared they aren't the best built headphones around.

I got an idea how about I will sell my z7 to you for 700$ buy the esp950 and will tell you whether you should buy it;) everybody happy
