Corsair K95 RGB

Sandalwood_snake

I'm highly considering purchasing the Corsair K95 RGB with cherry MX Red switches. Although, I have a few questions:

Will the LED's ever die out on this keyboard?

Is it worth the money?

Does it give you lag on any games?

Is it too loud?

Are there any better RGB keyboards (besides the razer chroma)?

Is it actually 16.8 million RGB?

1.) LED's in general last a very long time, I've had mine since close to launch and they're still as bright as the first day I plugged it in.

2.) That's a very subjective question, it's a very solid keyboard with a large amount of functionality for a fairly hefty price.  I don't regret spending the money on mine.

3.) No perceivable lag, I don't have any scientificly tested numbers to give you but there is 0 lag and I personally have never heard of a keyboard having lag in a very, very long time

4.) I have brown switches and they can be fairly loud.  Can't speak to Red switches

5.) Haven't tried any other RGB keyboards but I know that Corsair are the only ones with Cherry MX RGB switches still.  That influenced my decision personally.

6.) You can configure for that many, but can you actually tell the difference on the keyboard?  I can't.

1. LEDs will last a long time

2. I think the K70 RGB is worth the money but then again I don't like macros.

3. No lag

4. Red switches? Do you know mechanical switches? Reds don't make any noise.

5. The Razer Chroma is better in one way and one way only, the software is easier to use.

6. Not quite sure.
