For what it is the intel i5-4690k is one of the sought after CPU's for it's price bracket with solid performance and support for enormous overclocking  its a great choice for a mid price CPU
The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo is a legendary cooler with excellent performance for its price. It may be a bit large but overall its a got to option
Asus Sabertooth- Linus is needed for this :
Gigabyte : Gtx 970 Windforce Jayz needed for this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAahjdwfbRw

Aswell as this the R9 290 is an excellent card for its price more about the card by Linus:
Asus M5A99X EVO: HiTechLegion needed here:

Same thing with the last video
improvements will be accepted and would be good for the 1st time pc builder to look at

Is this a question? Are you trying to ask what is better?

I don't understand this post at all, both builds are so freaking different in design and basis that they can't be compared really >.>

you have a strictly gaming build with intel, totting a far more expensive cpu setup, and a more expensive gpu, then for some reason the amd build is blowing 1/3rd it's budget on storage, and double the ram, not to mention a case more than 2x as expensive as the intel build... I'm actually really confused.

If you wanted to compare two similar amd vs intel builds then the amd build should have looked something like whats below, which has honestly, a better gaming setup by miles than the amd build you posted. The 8350 isn't great for gaming anymore really, but its certainly better than a lot of other options out there.

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor  ($157.95 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard  ($89.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 290X 8GB Tri-X Video Card  ($365.91 @ Newegg)
Case: NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($34.99 @ Micro Center)
Total: $845.04
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

I would go the intel route at this price point for gaming performance.

But if you're going to do content creation, i would go with the 8350. This is the only scenario where i can justify AMD CPU's as of now (sadly.)

You should check for awesome deals on a 290x though, this is also a monster card when paired with the 4690k when used for gaming.

When in doubt: C4

If you needed to choose, go for the Intel but with a 2TB HDD.

Also, the Hyper 212 is not exactly quiet.  It's better than stock but is limited.  An attractive alternative is the Cryotek H5 for $42 which is quieter, and performs better.(and even better with bigger fan)  I'd say it fits the budget.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.
