Windows 8 bsod issues

droidxd00d

Hi everyone, just purchases an msi gs60 pro laptop about 2 months ago. Everything was working fine until just a few days ago. Now randomly during games or even general use I get a bsod.

The error is a page fault in non paged area.

I first thought it could be ram or a bad hdd so i ran an extensive seatools hdd test and everything passed. I also ran the windows memory check test and everything passed.

Chkdsk ran with no errors at all.

I downloaded a tool that allows me to see what file is giving me the issue and i found this:

ntoskrnl.exe ntoskrnl.exe+642be fffff803`b7402000 fffff803`b7b96000 0x00794000 0x550f41a6 3/22/2015 6:26:46 PM

This is the same file that keeps giving me issues. I tried a few fixes like in these threads here:

It worked okay for a day but now its back to do it again. I can reset back to factory settings just don't want to go through the setup hassle again if i don't need to. The laptop is still under warranty so if it is hardware I can send it out for repair to msi.

Just would like some help thanks!

The laptop is faulty. Despite you testing the RAM, doesn't mean it is 100% OK.

It might be 70% reliable for example, where under specific conditions is fails.
