Display running time

Found this on an old HP vs17, it actually has a counter for the number of hours it's been used and number of hours the backlight has been on.

That's cool, never seen one with a counter before. So just over a year of backlight on, and 3.6 years of usage (including standby time I'd assume)

I don't think it counts stand by. It is just talking about screen on. Maybe it does idk for sure. 

 

considering amazon first stocked it in 2005, that's quite a bit of screen on.
