Hi guys, I've been trying to overclock my CPU for the last few hours and by using Intel Extreme Tuning Utility it seemed to have been working. I went into my bios and slowly increased my core speed to 42 with all cores synced and my core voltage to 1.275. this is when i checked CPU-Z to see if everythig was going good and it's telling me my core speed is 801.25 with a multiplier of x-8.0(8-42). Why won't my processer stay at 4200MHz???

Intel SpeedStep lowers the core clock during low loads--nothing to worry about.
