This is my current PC:

Intel i5-750 2.66Ghz
G.Skill DDr3-1333 PC3-10600 8GBx2
GA-P55-UD3 v1.0
PALIT GTS 250 GREEN 256MB
Huntkey H402 Case
Huntkey LW-6550HG Green Power 550W

I want to buy new Graphic card for Gaming and I thought about GTX970.
I know my CPU is not strong enough for this so I want to OC it to 4Ghz.
Now, the problem is that my computer is already suffering from heat so I need to
buy new case and CPU fan. I have already bought a new Power Supplier: Corsair CX750

My questions are :
Will the OC to the CPU remove the possible bottleneck with the GPU?
What Case to buy (Cheapest + coolest around 100$)?
Can someone here help me to OC after I buy the needed things?

dont know much about OC so cant help you there.

i would go with a r9 290/290x if i were you. i just prefer amd cards over nvidia

as for the case i would recommend corsair carbide series spec-01( or 02/03 up to you) since they look sweet imo and they only cost ~50$

And I'd prefer Nvidia over AMD, but that's just my opinion.

That power supply might be a bit too much Wattage needed really. But it works.

You really only need like 500-600w with the way nvidia's new cards are.

I think if you can get your Processor to about 3.5-3.7GHz you shouldn't get a bottleneck. But if you can get it higher then definitely do it!

You should spend less on a case, and spend more on your Cooler, try to get an AIO cooler like the Corsair H100i or something so you can overclock that thing really high.

So get a nice case like $60 with the GTX 970, GREAT CHOICE, and try to get an AIO Cooler.

I think you will be happy with these results.

7800X3D - MSI B650 MAG Tomahawk - 32GB 6000mhz CL30 - Gigabyte 3080 TI - 2TB NVME - 1000w PSU - ID Cooling 240mm AIO

The overclock probably won't prevent bottlenecking in some games, but it should be solid enough for most games. I'd suggest you upgrading your cpu as well, but that's another 300-400 down the drain. Be careful with your OC though, check if your mobo is good for overclocking as well as your chip. It's a little hard to tell with overclocking since every cpu is different, so it might be a miss in your case. For the case i'd suggest the Define S, it's decent looking and has amazing airflow for you to cool most of your components.

I preper Nvidia because in general their cards are quieter and cooler

I Already have this, so I don't want to buy another one.

I will try to get it to 4.0Ghz, The problem that I have no idea in OC at all Hahaha.

I think I will buy the "Corsair carbide spec-03" as said here. there is a lot of places for fans :)

About the AIO Cooler, I hear from friends that there are a better and quieter solutions like: Noctua NH-D14

What do you think?

Games like "Skyline Cites" ?

No Stores sell LGA1156 CPU any more...

I saw in youtube some videos of people running the same modo and cpu as main with 4.0Ghz. so, I think the components are ok, am I wrong?

If you can confirm that the air cooler can still do what you need it to, and it's quieter, then definitely go with what you prefer. I'd be worried about the size of it fitting in your case. Bulkier hardware = less airflow? idk maybe not cause the hardware itself is airflow.

My AIO is kind of loud, I think it is mainly the fans making most of the noise though, so you could get an AIO and just get some quite fans instead of the stock ones. It works great though. I don't know from experience about the Noctua NH-d14, but if you have a good source that it will work for your intense overclock, then go for it! :)

i like fractal arc mini 2, but only for mAtx boards..

saw a "kill your console video" that's just like scrapyard wars..it used a first gen i5 (like yours) and a used gtx 760..

he called it potato masher and costs about 400$..

he compared the benchmarks with his haswell system and saw the cpu bottleneck..your upgrade is good, but you might also consider another upgrade anytime soon
