Motherboard Advice Needed

I'm looking to buy a socket 1150 motherboard particularly with M.2 access to build into an MCase N1 and need advice.  

I have a g3258 to OC and wondering if water cooling is also a worthwhile investment or better off buying a high quality heatsink/fan?

You can overclock a pentium pretty far on just its stock cooler so I would save your money on the after market cooler and get an I3 or even an I5 instead.

You'd be better off getting a better pc than to water cool that.

Is it worth spending extra on an Asus Maximus VII Impact for now for when the cpu gets upgraded?
