Hyperx cloud 2 usb problems

So, i just got a  hyperx cloud 2 headset, and i have a problem with the usb plug. It refuses to send sound through the usb sound card. It works with the 3.5 mm jack but not the usb. Any idea what happened?

Did you set it as the primary adapter?

how would i do this?

 

in your configuration panel. sound-> find your USB headset and rightclick -> set primary adapter.
