So i was planning on getting the Corsair 780T ATX Full Tower Case with 9 possible case fans and a very large amount of space. However, i saw the Corsair 900D ATX Full Tower Case, and is that ever an amazing computer case.  Do you think i should get the 780T for half the price of the 900D with 2 less possible fans.  Or should i get the 900D for double the price of the 780T?  now the fans are the second big thing i like about the 900D, i also like how its designed.  what do you guy think?

Here is my PCpartpicker list so you guys can get a better guess. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zVJGMp also, im getting the 650w or 850w power supply. Keep in mind however, my budget is 1.5k, and im already over that.  But i am not bothered to get the 900D if most of you think its the completely better choice for the price.

I will also be listing a topic poll to make  it easier i guess to make your statement.

Why such large cases?

imo I'd go for the 780t out of the two.

The 900d is massive, I'd guess you could probably fit an entire mid-atx case in the main compartment of it and still have a bit of room left over. (Never seen it in person, but comparison pictures make it look quite freakin huge)

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

to be honest, i just like how they are built and how you can stick alot of airflow on them  Yes i know, you dont need as much as you can get, but they look good as well as having alot of fans.  Bonus is they have a ton of space.

They have pretty horrid airflow due to the large size and not the other way around. The further distance air has to travel to cool and exit the case makes for worse airflow.

The 780T and 900D are suited for systems with many rads.

Dude your going to have major hardware dwarfing, also what would you do with the basement of the 900D, if I were you I would chose the 760T.

dwarfing i guess means the air wont flow that well???   im kinda new to this stuff.  also, with the basement of the 900D, i would put more fans in there, yeah i know, that would add 100$ but like i said, for very very good cooling and the excellent design. im fine spending the extra 100$ plus the 300$ for the case.

The components may be dwarfed meaning that they would seem very small in comparison to the case.

Have you considered the Enthoo Pro? It would bring you back into your budget and it's a great case, large and customizable with many fan mounts.

If you are concrete on those two options, get the 780T

nevermind, i just looked it up.  it looks okay, but i saw the amount of fans...  its 10 possible fans.  Thank you for the help, now im off to either get the 900D, 780T, or this Enthoo Pro.

The 900D makes 12 inch long video cards look tiny.

Here is a picture of what a ATX board looks like when dropped in a 900D look at all that empty space for air to stop moving around under the graphics cards and make them heat up the thing is Not Made For Air Cooling, there a literally hundreds of other cases that would suit your needs and perform better then the 900D and 780T behemoths.

Yea that's a 240mm graphics card look how big it looks.

Are you water cooling or not?

Also, let me just drop this in:

900D is NOT a good case, it is:

To big

To over priced

Bad (for price) build quality (built like 100$ case)

Bad air cooling
