i had 13 out of 15 gig downloaded for project cars on my pc.

i started up steam today and somehow my download has disappeared.

i checked back after dinner thinking the last 2gig would have been done but NO!!!!!, it had done 3.5gig out of the 15. in the game notes in steam a new patch was released,  but where the hell did my download go????

when you're on 150GB a month capped plan, it's kind of a big deal

according to the downloads page, then download size has changed from the 15.0GB it says in the first place

Yeah, caps are the bloody issue, and to top it all off, the parents say we dont need unlimited even though it costs only $10 more or so, heck it might even be cheaper now

 

 

So here we go, 15GB in one go, thankfully it renews in 6 days, but still

I pirated the game just to see how it runs on my gpu after the "amd gpu bad" stuff that's been posted. That's weird, steam hasn't done that to me before. Is your drive full? Plenty of space for the game left?

about 250GB of free space that the game was installing to.

 

 

It's done this before with GTA V, and a game or two before which i still cant understand why it's done this

200GB here with ADSL2+ 16/0.8, I would still prefer your connection even though I would get 50 less gigabytes of data

Nice necro. Anyway, my point was that this wouldn't have been much of a problem with better internet service. If Steam lost me 13 gigs of a game download, no big deal - just start over, 15 gigs won't take long and I have no data cap.
