Titan Quest lag? o.o

So about a year ago I went and blew "too much" money on a new computer system for myself. The short version is: i7-4770k, 16GB of DDR3-1600, GTX 770 with 2GB of RAM, and a 500GB SSD boot drive, to which I have Titan Quest and TQ:Immortal Throne installed. The confusing part is the lag that I still get. Any ideas?
