What's the system being used for?

Why 2 ssds and such a large case? No mass storage?

As woodenmaker said, what is this gonna be used for?

First, what are you using the PC for? Gaming? Streaming? Editing? Rendering? Home?

Because it depends what you're doing with your computer

ok so the main use of the pc will be gaming. but the second use will be a bit of Cad not too crazy with it just some basic stuff.

and the mass storage will be on my NAS so the two SSDs will be in Raid 0 for better speed and backed up every few days.

You can't just randomly post "300th post!".

Post something relevant or its spam

1. Sorry.

2. I would get a hdd just to have one. you never know when you will need it.

Why would the speed from raid 0 be necessary?

I think theres no monitor in this build ... you know, the most important part.

A working gsync/freesync loop build will be about 900x better enjoyment than anything else.

yah i just recently bought 2 24" acer monitors for my desk.

Why would the speed from raid 0 be necessary?

because why not. im spending this much might aswell make read write speeds insane aswell. :P

biggest difference i would see between those parts is about $700 and i chose the case because i like the look

If your main use for the pc is gaming, with a bit of CAD work then I would go with an i7 4790K build.

Something along these lines. The psu will handle a 2nd GTX 970.

I went with a different case, but everything will also fit in the CM Stryker.

Motherboard: MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($154.98 @ Newegg Canada)

RAid 0 only increases sequential transfer speeds though which isn't really useful unless you're frequently moving large files.
