Hi,

I was just wondering how much of a difference there is between the r9 270x and the r9 280x, as I am soon going to be building a PC. Will I actually notice the difference, in 1080p, between the two? Is the 280x worth the extra money?

On average, about a 25% increase in performance going for the 280x.

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

On the left is 270X and on the right is 280X (both MSI I think)

What is the price difference where you live?

Around £50.

You could always try to get one used. The card has been out for awhile, you could save the 50 (Euro or Pounds, idk I'm American.) Making the used 280x the same as a new 270x.

If not, the 280x is definitely worth the upgrade.

I think it is worth it..

It's quite a bit, but you get a full GB more VRAM and very often 10-20 more fps.

About 75 euros/USD or so IIRC
