I am having problem starting up my pc I am getting MB led code 04 on the screen windows loading but stay that way. Any help would be appreciated.

This is my specs i7 4790k vengeance 2133 mhz ram evga GTX 980 superclocked corsair hx1000i powersupplie.

So it freezes when it its booting?

SSD in AHCI?

Try unplugging USB devices.

Try different SATA cables.

Can it boot from Windows install disc?

Overclocked?

Sorry I am kind of noob in this I am not sure what AHCI but I am using corsair force ssd I am using external LG dvd player as optical drive and I am overlooking yet because I am using stock Intel cpu cooler.

Make sure you install Windows when your drive is in AHCI. Make sure you are in AHCI by going into your BIOS and under whatever menu contains the storage settings make sure you are in AHCI not IDE.

I check my motherboard setting it's checked on AHCI mode.
