Hello, i recently finished building my pc and i did not have any trouble.

some days ago, maybe 7 or so, i had to remove my heatsink from my cpu, and i did not turn my pc on, until i had a new one, which was today.

The problem is that when i turn it on, it doesn't do anything, it turn the fans on, then the sound of the floppy drive, and finally it doesn't show the bios or something on the monitor. so i was wondering if any of you could help me find the problem, and how could i fix it.

This are my specs:

I7 4770

Gigabyte z97x-sli

Radeon hd 7990

Seagate 2tb

16gb of ram 1600

Cx750m psu corsair

I have tried to remove the hd7990, i checked the cpu and it is not burnt or a moved pin in the socket, the ram seems fine, i moved it to the other channel, also tried to put another hard drive but nothing happen.

What mobo LED lights light up?

Reseat everything. Ram, GPU, CPU, make sure the CPU power cable is plugged in, and if all else fails, reset the bios.

So you reinstalled the cooler?

Did you plug in both motherboard power cables and graphics card power cables?

Yes the 8 pin is plugged in, all the leds seem to be fine

Yes i did, i reinstalled it and also put the cables correctly

did you take out the CPU ? if you did maybe you bent a pin or 2 , that could fail boot the computer
