Computer not recognizing networks

My computer has stopped recognizing my network (via ethernet, I dont have wifi), when I go to the network adapters folder, it shows as empty. Here are some pictures of what I got.

Hopefully not a dumb request but, Have you tried unplugging and replugging your router?

Then reset the router/modem.

Ive done that already, ive been searching on the web for people with the same issue, and they all brought me to this folder, which in my case is empty, I assume thats not good.

Did you power cycle the router/modem? Meaning unplug the power to it for a few seconds then plug it back in. Resets are done with the power turned on.

Just a suggestion, but it looks like you're using manual configuration for your Ethernet connection, and you have your subnet mask as "255.255.0.0" could you try making sure it is set as "255.255.255.0" and test to see if this fixes your issue? It might be a really long shot but it's worth having a go to see if it changes anything.

It might be a really long shot but it's worth having a go to see if it changes anything.

I just learned something new, I actually didn't know that the subnet mask had different classifications, I don't ever remember reading about that, so thanks for teaching me that

Then again I don't pretend to be a networking wizard, so there's tons of stuff that I don't know yet ^__^

Look up subnetting Theres so much to learn!

Like how you use binary to find out IP v4 addresses, and how you wound up with the IP address your ISP gave you.
