Best <$200 Camera?

Go to solution Solved by Nexxus,

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not really "considering" anything. At the risk of sounding like a 16-year-old white girl, I know nothing about cameras except that my iPhone can take pictures of food for instagram.

I would try and find the cheapest 1080p recording video camera you can find and call it a day.

ultimately I would say get a DSLR with 720p recording to get a great stills camera too but I dunno what DSLRs have video functionality my old one didnt so it wasnt something I kept up to date with.

Hi, I'm looking to do Tech Reviews and things like that, and I was looking for a less than $200 camera. I want something more adjustable, but I'm a complete camera noob, and know nothing. So far I've been looking at the Nikon 1 J1 http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B005OGQXJW/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2PWQAYQPRQJYW&coliid=I3PZTCK498LBLR&psc=1 and the Samsung WB350F http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00HV6KK0G/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2PWQAYQPRQJYW&coliid=I26Z80Y2UTZR9G&psc=1

I'm a fucking AMD kawaii weeaboo desu I have seen the light

At the risk of sounding condescending if you are even considering point and shoots just get whatever. the difference between the "best" and run of the mill wont be noticable.

If you don't need stills get a video camera.
