Sure would love to see it, but either way you have convinced me :) I have made some changes to the build http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/mattcow12/saved/#view=kJG6Mp

why the x61 may i ask? the pump is much louder then the nepton 240m has. and i would rather recomend 2x 8gb since z97 is dual channel only so your performence will be best with 2x 8

It uses the same software as the fan controller and it looks really nice :) I realise those reasons are kinda stupid but I don't need the performance of a really good cooler so its mainly a style thing. Also the sound can be reduced majorly with aftermarket fans

PS

I will check out 2x8GB memory

How about this memory kit: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/kingston-memory-hx316c10fbk216

also is it worth paying a little extra for higher speed versions?

Also those fans look really nice :) should go well with my black and red theme. But I dont think I will splash out for aftermarket fans unless the NZXT v2's are too loud.

And you don't need to change them. I think they are pretty quiet. Did you make sure that water coolers are as quiet as you want? Unfortunatly I don't have any experience with watercoolers and loudness of their fans, so you should check on that too. Otherwise Red and Black theme never failes!

The pump noise will not be affected by fans, once you buy it you are stuck with the noise :P

The pump isn't that loud is it?  also the NZXT one scales with liquid temps.

the loudest thing is my system is the pump on my nepton 240m, and that is one of the most quiet AIO on the market, compared some say that the x61 is noticebly louder, i myself dont have one so i can't test side by side

it is realy hard to explain but i would recomend nepton 240m or air cooler (like dark rock 3 or nh-d15) if you are going for a quiet system

I see about the pointlessness of higher memory speeds now thank you, also I think i'm still gonna go with the x61 purely because of style I don't believe that it will be very loud at all, especially at typical load.

the x61 is an awesome cooler, but the pump speed stay above 2200rpm so it is about as quiet as a h100i. but buy which ever you want the most, if it is either because of noise or looks :)

Anyone got any benchmarks for the performance increase of paying Jeremy Clackson to yell 'POWER' at your computer while you use it. I know this isn't great for quiet PCs

you will probarly get 9000++++ fps in gta v on ultra in 4K
