Hi, I have a Maximus VII Hero and 2x4GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Ram.

I currently have my ram installed in slots A1 and B1 but I was looking in the manual and it says A2 and B2??

Does it matter? What is the difference anyway :P

Thanks,

Ben

I don't like 2D games...I just couldn't get into them.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

No difference as long as you skip a slot in between, you're fine.

Whatevers listed on your motherboards manual as slots for dual channel then use that.

I did not look at the manual but is it recommending the red slots? I would go with red slots almost all the motherboards I have used are the red slots location then enable xmp in the bios.
