I am trying to OC my CPU. My system is at the bottom. When I change the multiplierto 44 windows still says I am running at 4ghz.

AID64 says: CPU Type QuadCore Intel Core i7-4790K, 4400 MHz (44 x 100)

Does windows computer properties not show actual clock speeds with this CPU?

Disable EIST and all C-states in BIOS (turn them back ON after you find your max OC), also set Performance mod in Power Settings in Windows inside Control Panel (set Balanced mod after you find your max OC).

Also use CPU-Z not Windows Task Manager for viewing your CPU Info.

Windows still says my clock speed is at 4ghz, but when I benchmark it it's at 4.6ghz and stress tests say 4.6 or higher if I'm running higher.
