hey guys i'm going to buy a new CPU and a new motherboard but i'm confused 

I5 4690K+Gigabyte Z97 D3h / I7 4790+Gigabyte P85 d3 ?
which one is better? in gaming 
also i'm not an expert in Overclocking

They'll be about the same. Motherboards make almost no impact on gaming and the difference between an i5 and i7 in games is negligible.

the i5 4690k is the absolute best you can get for gaming....

 

anything more expensive is a 100% waste... the i7`s and theis stupid hyperthreading do the same exact fps...or can even have lower fps, yes there are tests that show this on techpowerup.com

 

 

id actually argue that if you get the cheapest haswell i5 and the cheapest mobo to hold it you are losing only 2-3% in fps compared to that top i5

if you are NOT overclocking - thats what you should get
