Case: NZXT S340 Black 79€
CPU: Intel i5 4690k 252€
GPU: GIGABYTE GTX970 WINDFORCE G1 406€
PSU: XFX XTR 650W 120€
MB: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 160€
SSD: Crucial MX200 250GB 120€
RAM: G.Skill 8GB 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 65€
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 30€

TOTAL: ~1232€

Hello guys, this is my final build. But I think the PSU is way too expensive imo. I wanted to leave 650w just incase in one year I buy a 970 cheap.

http://www.globaldata.pt/componentes/fonte-de-alimentacao.html?dir=asc&order=price

I want modular or semi-modular. There are not many cheaper than the XFX

I will buy here. What's ur opinion? I know XFX XTR 650w is good but the others are that bad that justify the price difference? I mean 120€ for a 650w power supply is ok?

It's semi-modular and looks like it has 4 entry points. Is it enough? What do you think? Less 15€ are worth?

Edit: Well I guess it's worth since the XFX has 5 year warranty while CM one has 2 years.

Can you please make a comment about my build? You have so many posts so you must be very well informed.

It's for gaming 1080p I will overclock to 4.2 GHz, nothing too extreme just to squeez free juice from the CPU.

What do you mean by entry points?

I'm guessing you're looking in the wrong place or something. They're similar psus and they both have 5 year warranties.

It could be a bit cheaper with some alternative components:

I only want red motherboard. I guess I will keep this one. Everyone seems to like it.

Why HyperX RAM instead of Gskill? These are 7€ more expensive.

That SSD is basically the same with less ~180 MB/S write speeds. I know that I will not write that much to the SSD but i think it's worth the difference. (I guess, I might consider)

It was to not clash with the blue motherboard replacement. If you're sticking with a red motherboard, the GD65 is better and cheaper: http://www.globaldata.pt/componentes/motherboard/intel-socket-1150/motherboard-msi-z97-gd65-gaming.html

Do note that the graphics card has a blue led so the whole red theme might not work too well with it.

I have seen many people saying that Gaming 5 is better than G65 because it has better audio and 5th generation support. I don't know for sure it's hard to compare. More opinions?

Yeah I know. It's pretty stupid that GIGABYTE sells everything red and puts blue led on gpu, wtf. I may go for MSI twin frozen but it's 420€

Do you think I should change to blue motherboard and RAM? That ASROCK is pretty cheap. Is it any good?

thanks for the advice. Please keep helping me guys. :D

Sure, it's cheaper and fine like any other z97 motherboard.
