Graphich and MOBO

Go to solution Solved by gazabi,

sampion002PCIe 3.0 cards are backwards compatible with previous pcie standards, the main difference between 2.0 and 3.0 is their bandwidth. Since the 260x isn't a very powerful card, it doesn't need a huge amount of bandwidth, in short the card will work with your motherboard so you don't need a new mobo.

Hello,

I have an GA-P55-US3L and I would like to buy an R7 260x. Does my MOBO support that GPU ? Or should I get some other one ?

Because my MOBO suport for PCI x16 2.0 standard and in spec of GPU it sad that it is 3.0, so now, I don't know anymore.

Please help me.
