Ok, so I have a very confusing issue...

My 2nd PC (streaming machine) got stuck on the motherboard splash screen. No error messages or anything, just wouldn't move forward. So I hit the power button and attempted to start the machine again.

Now the machine starts (I know this because I can hear windows start in my speakers) but I get no display at all. No motherboard splash and nothing in windows and my monitor reports 'NO SIGNAL'

I tried using a different monitor (the one im using now on my main machine) with no joy.

I tried using a different HDMI cable

I tried using DVI

I tried using D-SUB.

All with no joy.

I did some google searches and found a common solution was to reset the CMOS.

I tried this and now the computer wont even boot into windows and I still have no display whatsoever.

I have removed all components (this only being a capture card) so all that is installed is the CPU and RAM. Still nothing.

I figure there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the machine as it had this issue while still booting into windows just fine (before I reset the CMOS) but im at a total loss what to do now.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks guys,
