Gigabyte R9 280 clock problem

Lawliet93

Hi, I own the Gigabyte R9 280, that I have overclocked to 1150MHz on the core and 6000MHz on the memory. It's a real beast for the money, but... I have this one issue with it... The stock clock of the gpu is 950MHz and sometimes it underclocks itself to this frequency (although it is actually overclocked). What I have to do is to change the overclock in the CCC several times, which will eventually resolve the issue (sometimes I have to restart the computer to make it work again). There is a guide in the guide section of this forum, that helps to resolve this issue once and for all, but... it increases the GPU temps by around 10°C+ and I'm not really comfortable to run my Card at 50°C at idle. Is there a way to resolve this problem?

P.S.: The overclock is stable (tested with Unigine valley for more than a hour).

P.S.: The voltage is at 1,25V and it's locked.

@Lawliet93 Did you max out the power limit? Also, use MSI Aftterburner instead of CCC Overdrive.

Of course i did, it's the first think  I do every time I'm using a AMD GPU (it seems that AMD GPUs have a problem keeping their clocks at 0% PL). I'm using MSI AF as my primary overclocking program since 2010 with several overclocking profiles, but the CCC seems to be the only solution. (i was also thinking about changing the BIOS of my card).
