I really like racing games and would like to get a wheel especially with the release of project cars,

Only problem is Im disabled/wheelchair bound and cant use my legs so foot pedals are out, is there anything on the market I could use as an accerator/brake I could use with my hands thats analogue?

Something like a control pad trigger on the xbox controller that can vary the input ?

I don't know if anything like this exists but would like to use the racing wheel and control accellortator/ brake

Thanks

Perhaps email ben heck: benjamin.heckendorn@gmail.com , I'm sure he's busy but it's worth a shot

he does lots of accessibility mods and I'm sure that he could come up with a good solution.

You could get a G27 and make the paddle shifters gas and brake, if you don't mind driving an automatic. Or, you could bind those two controls to any button on the G27, and let the paddle shifters be paddle shifters lol

One thing that poped into mind would be to rebind the paddle snifters as the brake and acc buttons, however im unsure if they have a range of motion rather than just activated/ unactivated

Yeah that's the issue, I've looked at the G27 and all the buttons including the shifters are digital buttons so they are either off or on.

Basically if you are driving its max accellerator or max break whenever you press it. Its doable but unfortunatley you will crash a hell of alot, thats why im looking for an analogue solution.

I think outside of a custom built setup ill have to stick with an xbox pad for now.

Yeah, using those for the throttle would be no better than using arrow keys on the keyboard xD

Thats a bit of a bummer...
