Hey Guys,

 

I have the Z87-HD3, and 8gb (2x4gb) of Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz. I want to upgrade to more ram, for Premiere and After Effects....

should i go another 2x4gb to make it 16gb, or 2x8gb to make it 24gb? or just 1 stick of 8 or 16gb?

im on a budget tho...

Id add a 8GB stick for now then more later.

16GB DDR3 sticks arnt supported on your board and single 16GB sticks do not exist for DDR3

Depends just how much your rendering, i would think 16GB is enough (4x4GB).

If you have an i5 dont pass 16GB it will be useless, only if you have an i7.
