using an xfx 6870 with 1 fan on it, possibly has some of the worst cooling on it of any graphics card, should have never bought it, but it is idling at 63 degrees Celsius, and peaking around 90 whilst gaming. my ambient is around 25 degrees as its quite hot in uk right now, but arnt these dangerous temps? and what can i do about it? it is in a bitfenix prodigy so there's not much extra cooling i could add to the case.

The cooler probably isn't that great then but how is the cooling in your case ?

turn your h100i as an exhaust......your pumping hot air into an already hot case.........your temps for you cpu will go higher but i think you can have 6-10 degrees higher cpu that a dead gpu.....or you can swop your intake 120mm to an exhaust 120mm.......that may help.....]

Swop the 12cm intake around to exhaust and post your temp again......that way you have two fan intake and two fans exhaust.....

last time any maintenance was done to the cooler of the GPU? dust/debris old TIM

replaced? on old cards (1.5yrs) they tend to have collected a fair amount of pooh and

dust bunnies in the fin arrays. and TIM is not-lifetime solution.

what were the temps in the another case it was in?
