Ive had this stuttering issue for a long time now. In every game (such as War Thunder, CSGO, GTA V...), when I move, I experience stutter. Its been annoying me and its making my gaming experience unplayable. I'm starting to think if I should just upgrade to a new GTX 970 along with a new PSU supply?

I thought it was something to do with temperatures so I installed 2 new fans into my Vibox case. Lowers my tempatures alot, but does not stop the stuttering.

I've tried changing voltages, power settings. I've tried overclocking which helps the stuttering but hardly any difference. I've looked at loads of fourms. I've tried unparking my CPU. I have spent at least 200000 hours trying to figure out this problem and it is doing my head in. I can't just afford to buy a new PC. On another fourm, there was something about my mouse drivers. Tried installing mouse drivers. I also have the latest AMD drivers. I've tried turbo core in AMD overdrive.

The stuttering I think only happened 'suddenly'.

In CSGO when I strafe sideways I get the stuttering and sometimes see black thin lines that look like artifacts. I even stutter when moving forward. This happens in all games especially when looking (strafing) sideways.

Is my GPU dying? In the past I have put it under strain when it reached 100 degrees alot of the time due to bad cooling.

What could this possibly be?

Copy pasta lol

Probably your GPU , I would upgrade to R9 280/x / R9 290/x or GTX 970/980 .

Depends on your psu

I copied it from another forum I posted xD

If I upgrade to another GPU, I would go for the GTX 970 along with a 600 watt PSU.

but do I need to?

Can I fix the problem?

Well you state lag and stutter + lines as if it was glitching .

your 7850 might be dying , I would rma if you still had warranty or try another gpu .

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

Probably your GPU  is dying after having it for a long time running at High Temps. Vibox aren't known for having the best cooling solutions. Probably the best solution is to upgrade your GPU and PSU to something new and try make it last longer by keeping it cooler.

I don't have a warranty anymore since I have had the PC over the due time.

On CSGO the stutter happens when my FPS stays at 60. On CSGO, my fps never changes while in game, its always at 60. During that time, I get stutters.

If this cannot be fixed, I may have to look into buying a new GPU.

Thank you Lord_Danalite.

What would your budget be to upgrade ?

Maybe it was your psu screwing stuff up.

Tat could be a problem

I've tried VSync on and off, still the same problem.

I will be happy to pay for a MSI GTX 970 with a 600 watt corsair PSU.

If I was to get a new GPU, I only need to make sure that I have a correct PSU and a PCI express in my Motherboard?
