Windows 8 Slow Response

Windows 8 is responding very slowly, when opening menus or using the search feature.

Any way to fix this?

Find the cause? Check your hardware health or if anything is using up your RAM. You might be using too much pagefile and it destroys the response times.

Nothing using up the ram, sat at 2.9GB of 8GB :S

 

More info needed, is it just an old PC that's full of bloatware? The best solution would just be to reinstall windows.

It's a relatively new install of windows, at least 2months old and it's the PC in my sig, the FX 8350 one :S

What does crystaldiskinfo show about your hard drive.

Crystaldiskinfo says the SSD is Good (100%)
