So I want to buy a 7.1 Headset for gaming and entertainment purpose, my budget is around 100USD, so can someone give me a few option :P?

Also can someone tell me what's the different between Headphone that use normal 3.5mm jack and one that use USB like Razer Kraken?

I love Krakens. USB headphones, take more power. They can even have LEDs (Chroma). They have way more base, and other cool stuff. Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma are cool. I still have the Razer Kraken Pro...  :(

Theres no such thing as 7.1 headphones unless your headphones have 7 speakers in them. Its just computer software changing the sounds and Razer has a very good free software which does this, dont waste money on special 7.1 headphones.

The isnt much difference between USB and Audio Jacks its just one is a analogue signal and the other is a digital signal which is then converted to analogue by the headphones. Or in some cases USB is the exact same.

For a $100 you can get a reasonably good headset HyperX would do.

This.

You need 7 speakers and one subwoofer between two cups to have a true 7.1 channel headphone, and to the best of my knowledge, none exist. Pretty much buy any headphone you're comfortable with (HyperX is a good recommendation for most people), and use Razer Surround to simulate 7.1 channel surround.

This feller is right, the whole "7.1 headphones" advertising of headsets is a sham, and shouldn't be included in as a specification to your decision, as you can get way higher quality headphones that are not branded "7.1 or 5.1", they can also be possibly way cheaper than the surround sound headphones.

I would say buy a decent pair of headphones from a respected brand, and buy a usb sound card; you can find all kinds of good sound cards that will convert any headphones to 5.1, or 7.1, depending on what sound stick you have,

No thats not how it works. Surround sound in headphones is created by changing the sound by adding reverberation it has to be done by a piece of software which has a idea of where the sounds are coming from.

The raze software when used hijacks the sound coming out of the game and use its rough idea of where its coming from to change the reverberation of the sound.

A sound card does non of that. A sound card is normally a AMP and some have multiple out puts designed for surround sound speakers.

USB sound card, and yes, that's how it works, as my headphones are connected to a USB sound card which converts it to 5.1, or 7.1; my on board audio card even does the same exact thing, and actually has the same program as the USB sound card.

No, that's not remotely how Razer surround works. Razer surround does NOT hijack the sound coming out of the game or application. It takes in a 7.1 audio channel output from the game /application and downmixes it to be played on two audio channels for stereo. Many sound cards out there actually do have HRTF software with them, such as Creative CMSS or Dolby Surround.

But its all software installed on the card I could get the same software anywhere and having a sound card or not doesnt change anything.

I dont give a toss about how the software gets its sound it all works from reverberation to trick the ear and brain into thinking the position of something in a room.

Anything from Sennheiser or Audio Technica will do you really well. I think for a small price range Audio Technica have the best choices.

AT mx30 or mx40s will do.

HRTF is much more than just reverb. Please stop spouting out useless things about technology you don't actually understand.

Seems to be full of meh gaming headsets. If I had to pick one headset from that site, it'd be SteelSeries Siberia V2s, which are at least somewhat ok in absence of real headphones and Clouds/QH-90s.
