WaterCooled PC Desk

So I've been looking around and have seen many PC desks and thought that it just plain looks awesome and they come with the advantage of lots of space so I've decided to make a plan for one. I plan on using plywood to house the components and add some nice dark wood veneer in the final stages complete with a glass top to show the components. I am still very much in the planning stages at the moment as I still don't know where to put the pumps and how to route the tubing and I'm not completely happy with the PSU and HDD location yet.

This is my MK1 Prototype this could change of course but I think the overall layout is good, the arrows are for airflow if you were wondering. Like I said it's still very early into the planning stages so don't expect a build log any time soon but don't worry once I start there will be one!

I always thought doing a custom desk for a desktop would be cool, although i'd suggest putting a PCIe extender off the motherboard and mount the GPU somewhere else to display it better

I was thinking about it but to get a decent riser it would be pricey and since I run SLI 970's I can't justify spending that much on a cable if I had SLI Titan X's I would though.

Just like that I've changed the design. This is the MK2 Prototype and is probably going to be the one I will keep as I can see where to route tubing. The area where the mobo and reservoirs are is going to be enclosed from everything else so they are only on display with the ssd's mounted on one of the panels maybe above the mobo. I plan on making this desk around 160mm deep so there will be about 20mm clearance for the radiators. I am aware that adding 2 360mm rads for both the cpu and gpu's is overkill but hey go big or go home.
