Is this mobo good?

Go to solution Solved by ForsakenLive,

Which H97 is high end?

There are some 'high end' H97 options, but they are worthless. Altogether H97 is a mid tier, budget chipset. Any H97 board going over $100 makes little sense, at that price decent Z97 boards appear.

With H97 you don't get SLI. So keep that in mind.

Is this mobo good?

Its an alright mobo, a bit on the lower end side of the h97 boards, but will still do the job just fine.

Just don't expect to run SLI or Crossfire on it in the future as it doesn't support either.

Yes, it is a great motherboard. The only drawbacks are that it doesn't support SLI nor Crossfire. It doesn't have highend RAM support, but it is awesome looking and its can overclock! Great for someone who doesn't like to compete with SLI and just get a single more powerful card.
