Video Memory

Go to solution Solved by Stefan1024,

You have 1024 MB on the card itself. In addition you allow it to use 2303 MB of your (CPU) RAM. But this much slower so the game can't really us it.

Therefor you are limitted to 1024MB.

I have a question about the video memory when i look at the properties screen of my gpu it says it has total available graphics memory: 3327MB

but when i go play GTA V it says that it has only 1024MB

and another question, Should i upgrade my GPU? So yes? Wich one?

Mineral oil and 40 kg aluminium heat sinks are a perfect combination: 73 cores and a Titan X, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Oil

GT630 oh god thats some seriously dated stuff. So yeah upgrade soon as possible. What your budget for new gpu would be you can get some pretty decent stuff for under 100 like my gtx 650 it does games decently most modern games need to be run on low but most games before 2010 can be run on max and some games after 2012 can be run on med to high

i guess youre right but i might better build a new pc as this one being quite old

should this be good? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xvGb6h

or should i do something else

Get a Z97 MOBO instead of an H81 if you're going with a 4690k. You won't be able to OC without a Z97 or Z87 (kinda).

Just get 8 GB RAM instead of 16, 16 is unnecessary.

Don't get the 840 EVO. get an 850 EVO, or an MX 200, or a BX 100.

Other than that, it looks good.

I don't do signatures.
