The problem (at least i call it problem since idk) is that my r9 285 dual-x oc getting low core clocks in some places while playing some online games.

for example im getting 940~965 (965 is the maximum) while playing mmo game but just in some places. and once i get these core clock results my fps is always high like 70~80fps and the game is capped at 80fps btw... (Tera online) but most of the time or like 90% of the playing time i get my core clock speed down to 600~800mhz and mostly stable at 680~760mhz .. and so the fps gets down to 25~50fps.

so is this is normal or there's a solution for that? not just tera, i have this problem in 1 or 2 other games. (most mmo games have this problem)

i think if the core clocks stay still at 900~965mhz i will get at least a good fps to play or this is how the gpu works when it comes to mmo game or its just me and there's a problem and for sure a solution?

i need help :S thanks.

What is your CPU.

It can be that most MMO rely on the CPU single threaded performance and 90% of the time you are in such scenarios and the GPU underclocks it self because there is nothing GPU heavy but CPU heavy.

Check your CPU usage.

but why i get in the same game my clocks raising up in some places mostly when there's less ppl? also if the game is cpu based so does that affect the core clocks? i thought it will just affect the gpu usage and the fps since it will bottlenecking it.
