GTX 780 Base clock lower than stock?

Go to solution Solved by ExcitezR,

its doing it because you have Gsync on and because CSGO is a very easy game to run it will down clock its self so that it does not have to use more power go in to Nvidia control panel and find CSGO in the 3d programs and change the settings from adaptive power to max performance to fix the issue

My 780's base clock is 692 Mhz and when i play CSGO my game drops frames all the time. I have g Sync and it enabled and my screen settings is set to 144Hz.

But when i load CS my 780 stays at 692Mhz and does not boost.

My temps while playing are 42° C max

and when idle they are 37-38° C max

Whats wrong?

Does it do it with other games? First try a different game.

In GTA 5 it great it boosts up to 1019, but thats not my problem...

My problem is with csgo not "other" games.
