Since it only has 6 x sata ports they all run off the Intel chipset, figuring out ports go to which chipset is normally an issue on boards with 8+ sata ports.

So I was looking at the ASUS owner book and website and can not find he diagram of which sata ports goto with controller. Can anyone help me please.

i though m.2 ran off the PCI lanes?

 

if they do run off the chipset, on some MSI mobos if you use the M.2 you lose 2 of the 6 sata ports so there probably will be sata port loss
