Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can offer me some advice in choosing a video editor... I'll be editing shadowplay footage and Gopro footage with the aim to start uploading to my youtube channel..

I'm pretty much completely inexperienced so if you know of a good tutorial for the software you think is worth using i'd be really great full if you could share it also!

at the moment i'm using a trial version of adobe premier pro but i'm struggling with how in depth it is (i may have jumped into the deep end) but once the trial is over i don't think i'm willing to pay the annual subscription fee.. Realistically i'm looking for software in the region of free to £60 ish!

Thanks for reading

Sony vegas is easier to use, but still $600 one time

Davinci resolve is free, but more difficult to use (like premiere) and has a 1440p limitation

Sony movie studio is $100 and an even more basic editor

Premiere elements is $120 and very basic, but still relativity difficult to use.

I'd learn resolve and leave it at that.

Vegas is really nice once you get the hang of it, but my god is it expensive. I have yet to "buy" it. :P
