Depends on your hardware. If your's is low-end then it will take up some CPU power (little to no GPU) but if your's is higher end there will be very, very little to NO difference.

Performance(FPS) wise - no. Unless your CPU is huge bottleneck already, you may lose a couple frames. If you use HHD PC will boot a little bit slower.

Laptop: Acer V3-772G  CPU: i5 4200M GPU: GT 750M SSD: Crucial MX100 256GB
DesktopCPU: R7 1700x GPU: RTX 2080 SSDSamsung 860 Evo 1TB

Aaah. With this hardware I'd say it's more likely to affect your up/downlink internet connection than the speed of your PC :)

May I suggest getting a teamspeak server (or hosting one) for higher audio quality. (or at least razer comms)

It uses like nothing, why would you not install skype?

That being said, it does use a lot of memory for what it does. Someone with a low-amount of RAM might run into problems, but I'm talking <4GB

Hope u are not building it yourself because purely based on this topic I would recommend u to stay away from it until its built and ready to run.

No offense. Your PC won't even notice something like Skype.
