this is the link to my build, just done yesterday (Sunday, May 3) and when i was trying to update my drivers I discovered that only one of the four USB ports was able to be used, the rest were inactive. The operational one was the standard USB 2.0 port on the front panel (on the left in the pictures with the link) the type of motherboard, power supply and case are all in the link as well. A final note is that the only thing ive installed so far is windows, no drivers have been updated and because of the lack of an optical drive, i have to use my old computer and a memory stick to obtain these downloads rather than the disks provided but they cant be downloaded because of the only one operational USB port (since the stick has to be in one and a mouse or keyboard has to be in a second, obviously)

if you are able to get windows installed, it should install a basic Ethernet driver you can use to connect to the internet and download the updates you need. Sounds to me like the drivers for the onboard chipset were not installed. The drivers will likely not be called "USB <insert other name of driver here>", but rather "Chipset drivers for... " or something similar. If you have the cd you could just copy the installer files for the chipset over as well.. or at least get the ones for the Ethernet and get the latest drivers for your rig.

I am whatever I am.
