VSR and 21:9 Support

Has anyone figured out how to get VSR resolutions downsampling to work at 21:9 aspect resolutions? Catalyst currently only has 2560x1440 and 3820x2160 as available resolutions. I have a 21:9 2560x1080 monitor so I can't really use downsampling because the resolutions aren't supported by AMD's VSR. I've tried using CRT to set a custom resolution but they don't take. Anyone have the same issue or figure out a work around?

Nvidia users, can you use 21:9 downsample resolutions in DSR? Like 3440x1440?

Nvidia supports 21:9 aspect ratios as long as it's a native resolution to your screen. Instead of pre-set resolutions it uses multiples of your current Desktop resolutions such as 1.75x, 2.00x, 4.00x(1-4 at intervals of 0.25).

Damn, I wish AMD's worked this way. It seems impossible for me to use downsampling at my aspect ratio.

will they add support to 21:9's? They are pretty damn popular. I feel like they have betrayed me. It's advertised as the same thing as nVidia's DSR and also seems like it would work universally. Pretty disappointed as I have just switched to team Red... They should note that it only supports 16:9 screens, I would have bought the 970gtx otherwise.
