You definitely can take it apart.

Don't quote me on this but I think you could plasti-dip it. 

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

Just like the others said, just use plastidip but be sure to use as little possible without of course, resulting in unexpected asethetics

Cpu:i5-4690k Gpu:r9 280x with some other things
