Hello everybody
I want to buy a new ssd: samsung 850 evo 250GB or 500GB(don't know which to choose)

And i currently have a Kingston SSDNow V300( i bought this one to make my pc faster and it was almost slower than my hard drive..)
I have 2x 465 GB 7200 rpm

So i don't know if i should just plug them into the sata ports and do nothing with the settings

Or make a raid from them...

Never done raid so i don't know if i should do it.

Ps: Motherboard --> 970 extreme 3 r2.0 with a fx 6300

Yes i am going to upgrade this motherboard to the MSI z97-g45 gaming with a i7 4790k

There is no way an SSD can make it slower... How did you migrate your hard drive to the SSD? Even the slowest SSD would make a fast hard drive feel ancient and slow.

The kingston ssd

Should be 500 mb/s but

The ssd's were made in 2 different countries

And i got the ssd from the wrong one so it was a lot slower

Other people had the same problem

Testing it with dxtory gave me 155 mb/s on the d: drive

So it's 51 mb/s more than my other hard drive

Still very fast...

Ps: been building pc for over 3 years now

So i plugged everything in correctly ;)
