The 850W will be fine, even when/if you upgrade to sli.

What will the build be used for?

The gigabyte GTX 980 could fit the all black theme a little better maybe, but that's if you're willing to lose the pre filled/fitted watercolling solution on the evga hybrid 980.

I'm going to use it for gaming, not going to do anything else with it. I just went with 16gb of ram because it only cost about 20$ more.

If you're just using it for gaming you could save yourself a lot of cash if you wanted to and get an i5 4690k, then get a z97 mother board and tbh you could even reduce your ram to 16GB @ 1866Mhz it would be just as quick for gaming, it'll have a lower CAS/Latency giving you the same fps (Or even higher sometimes by a little bit) but for a lower cost.

And if you don't mind 'risking raid' you could have x2 500GB drives in raid 0 it will only help with boot up times and reduce loading screens though.

I'm not too worried on cost.. I'd rather have a single drive, just my personal opinion, thanks though
