I would probably run two cables... That is a lot of current to draw through a single 8 pin cable I feel like.

the gigabyte card has one 6pin and one 8pin so the question is, should i use the included non-modular 8pin to 8+8pin cable or run 2 seperate cables?

O, then I didn't totally assume and misunderstand. It probably doesn't matter, but I would probably  run a single cable since the asus card only needs one. Clearly the card isn't sucking on much power.
