Save yourself $30 and go with this. I have the managed version, works very well.

it has good reviews, but it appears as it gets hot, if you don't have that issue in your environment it should be great

Yes, but unless you need some management, don't get a ProSAFE. It's extra money for a feature you won't use. ProSAFE adds a layer of management without having a fully managed switch (managed basically means configurable, iirc).

Netgear's Pro Safe switches are beasts. I have the GS116 at home, the quality and performance are well worth the price.
