What you said didn't contribute to the solution whatsoever so yea it's called post whoring

I did contribute. I voiced my full opinion. I could argue that you're derailing this thread because you're turning it into an argument over post farming.

Sig under construction.

Does it really matter that much in the grand scheme of things, increasing the AA will help enabling TXAA or changing it to 4x MSAA. But be warned a big performace hit.

I use the tweak from the Geforce guide (obviously for Nvidia users) of forcing MFAA in the control panel. Looks and performs better, 2x MFAA looks like 4xMSAA in my opinion and you get 10-30% better performance

for some reason i can play flawlessly online with msaa but in single player it struggle

More going on in SP. Same with 360. In online I would get a solid 26 frames, but in SP it would drop below 20 sometimes.

Do you have msaa off ingame and MFaa on in control panel. Also do you use adaptive vsync

From what I've read, enabling MFAA simply overrides the MSAA setting in the options. So basically if you are using 2x MSAA in GTA V options the Nvidia control panel overrides it and uses 2x MFAA.

http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/grand-theft-auto-v-pc-graphics-and-performance-guide#grand-theft-auto-v-nvidia-multi-frame-sampled-anti-aliasing <-- I suggest reading whole guide, pretty in depth run-through of all the graphics options and their performance impact

NVIDIA Multi-Frame Sampled Anti-Aliasing - If you've opted for Multi-Sample Anti-Aliasing (MSAA) in Grand Theft Auto V, you can enable NVIDIA Multi-Frame Sampled Anti-Aliasing (MFAA) via the NVIDIA Control Panel. This new GeForce GTX 900 Series-exclusive anti-aliasing technique appears almost identical to MSAA, yet runs 10-30% faster, improving your frame rate and giving you the option to enable additional effects.

I have a G-sync monitor, so no v-sync for me.
