I am thinking of playing ESO because I have really got into Elder Scrolls lately.

So how does this crown system work? I understand its pay for in game currency but what do you actually purchase with them? in game items or just DLC?, not looking to purchase them just want to get an idea of is its f2p or p2w

How much DLC is there and is it actually needed to enjoy the game?.

Also I want to ask if I could build a class like I play on Skyrim, Light armor, Dagger and shield.

What does an Transformer get? Life insurance or car insurance? - Russell Howard - Standup (Made me giggle a bit)

I'm not too familiar with the newer game mechanics, but from what I've played in the Beta and what I've heard from others, it's really not very good, even without the subscription.

Was that even a part of the persons question?

Although I partially agree with you, definitely not worth it with sub, I would say its alright without one. Especially with the time they have had to fix it.

Not part of the question, but still relevant to their post, seeing as they said they are thinking of starting to play it. I might save someone around £40 on a game that I would consider not worth playing.

Fair enough. But lets remember that it has improved since beta, like finally adding a justice system.
